Krystal Wells couldn’t miss. At least not until it was too late for Long Island University’s latest victims.

The junior sharpshooter made two of her six 3-pointers during a game-opening 24-8 run as the red-hot Blackbirds coasted to their fifth straight victory, 78-69, over William and Mary Monday night before 204 fans at Downtown Brooklyn’s Wellness Center.

Wells, who leads LIU with 24 field goals from beyond the arc this season, finished 8-of-11 from the floor, including
